about us
The woman behind the cause: Rumina Tejani.
Rumina Tejani, a mother and a wife, always had a powerful interest in books and learning, and volunteered to teach children in the local community.
In 2012, however, she was unfortunately diagnosed with breast cancer. Whilst she was ill, she sold all her wedding jewellery and raised funds to educate girls in Pakistan – an initiative still running today.
Sadly, Rumina lost her battle with cancer in 2014. Her family wanted to continue Rumina's love and passion for learning, and honour her legacy by educating girls and supporting their futures. And so, The Rumi-Tejani Foundation was born.

Your donation directly contributes towards projects such as The Rumi-Tejani Digital Library, where girls can learn how to navigate technology and digital systems, and use softwares such as Microsoft Word and Excel. This equips them to keep up with the demands of a rapidly changing world that relies heavily on technology and digital communication.
